Property Tree is giving back this Festive Season

Property Tree is campaigning for a charity drive! We will be donating shoes, clothing, old toys, and just about any gift that needs a loving home that will fit in a shoebox. We'll be keeping our  Santa Shoebox at the reception area of our main offices in Hartbeespoort from now until the 10th. All donations will be gifted directly to Jeanine Harties Omgee charity based here in Harties. Join us as we do our part to give back to the community this Festive season.

We only ask that you label your gift donation with a brief description of what's inside before you drop it off.

Drop off Christmas box for charity at property

Remember that feeling of urgency and excitement you experienced as a child when you woke up on Christmas morning, ready to rush downstairs and open gifts laid ready for you? The children we'll be donating to would like to experience the same feeling you felt by paying that joy forward this Christmas!

Our aim is to help generate more donations for children in need, especially during Christmas times where we take time to appreciate our loved ones. To take part in the drive, try a combination of two or more creative ways to give gifts to the children in order to make the donation feel special!

Make someone else's Christmas special

When the pandemic hit us all, we all felt stranded. Imagine the anxiety that must have been experienced by those of us who are less fortunate. Now that we are getting back into the swing of things, helping others, especially those who need it the most, can put things into perspective and grant you a sense of humility and introspection.

The gift of giving

Gift giving is more about making someone else feel special instead of expecting reciprocity. it is much more than an obligation. It is an opportunity to show love to somebody else even if they're not close to us.

Take time to understand the children you will be donating to. Also, it's important to bear in mind that you can't buy love, love is given freely. The price tag is not nearly as meaningful as the planning and time that goes into preparing your gift.

Make a donation in someone else's name or spend time with the children by taking part in community-driven activities with them. Gifts don't always have to be tangible, sometimes, all a child needs is a little attention to make them feel special. Your time is a humble and selfless gift that can make a difference in somebody's life.

For us at Property Tree, giving generously is a win-win proposition for all. Take a moment, and help us with these seemingly tiny gestures that have a vast impact on the life of an individual.
