Closing Message - Henk De Ridder
Dear friends, colleagues, and partners.
What a year 2021 has delivered us!
From the unknown to covid spikes and the constant negativity and uncertainty around the country after the turmoil that followed in July, it's been a trying experience for South Africans as a whole.
I myself have had a near-death experience with Covid and had various other challenges throughout the year from personal related hardships to government/municipalities giving us uphill to the very end. Despite it all, we continue to push through.
Our Property Tree family has had a few of our first acorns fall from the Tree, and even though goodbyes are inevitable, we firmly believe it was all for the better and we wish all of our staff and agents, both current and past, all the best for their future endeavours.
Our Tree has gone through a period of metamorphosis, shedding leaves and flowers and growing them back anew throughout the year. We've gone from strength to strength, meeting new people from competitors to new clients and team members alike, all of whom have become good friends along the journey.
We have certainly had one of our best years to date with some of the most exciting projects prepared for 2022 and beyond. Despite the various challenges we've faced, our team has been able to step up to the plate and we've become stronger for it as we look forward to a bright future on the horizon.
We have been extremely blessed thanks to all the support from both agents and clients, and will we continue to strive to be better. Do or do not - there is no try!
Set unrealistic goals and do whatever you can to reach them with definite, direct, and planned strategies. Accountability is key as we look back at the year and find places where we can improve our methods for 2022 and beyond.
I would like to say a special thank you to all the people close to me who have become like family. All the prayers and support, even though things were challenging for all of you, makes it all the more special.
Each day I strive for improvement and I welcome all support from friends and family helping me become a better version of myself. From Partners to colleagues, thanks again.
I truly hope that everyone gets the opportunity to rest up and refresh for the year ahead. Watch this space! Because 2022 will be massive!
